Being a fan of the series, from season 1 down to season 6, it was highly normal for us, the fans of the Peaky Blinders, to expect so much from the movie itself that just came to Netflix on the 20th of March. The wait, hype, and entire production for the movie were worth it, as it came in with a banger. The plot deepened, with more meaning and a passing of leadership from Tommy Shelby to his son. The lead character, Tommy Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy, has unique characteristics attached to the entire genesis of the plot for the movie. Tommy carries a lot of burden down from the deaths and the tragedies he has experienced in the war and his life. I even discovered through the podcast on the making of the movie, that the trauma the men of that time experienced was not referred to as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), rather it was referred to as Shell Shock, and the worst part is there was no cure or any form of therapy.
