I don’t travel that often, but when I do, I try to make the most of it. This trip stuck with me more than I expected. This was the first time going somewhere after we had the kids, so they were over the moon about taking a plane. I thought they would be a little scared, but they were true champions, passing out only about an hour into our flight, haha. I didn’t really know what to expect when visiting Vietnam. I was mostly looking forward to the food, but something else spoke to me as well. There is an old energy that flows through it that is very hard to describe, but you can feel it everywhere. Almost like the place remembers more than it shows. While the whole vibe might be a bit too touristy for me, I saw the beauty it had to offer, and I can honestly say I fell in love with it. I often find myself thinking about actually moving there, how life might be so much different, less rushed, more peaceful, and serene.
