The garden looks a little bare right now. I walk out there expecting some surprise color, but it’s just one hibiscus, one daisy- both red. But both flowers are doing their best to look bold! And these tiny purple flowers are like they’re trying to fill space. They’re sweet, but they’re not exactly a full bloom moment. It’s quiet, almost too quiet. It makes me think that the garden is holding its breath. But then there’s the tree rose. That’s the one giving me hope. It’s covered in buds, all tight and green. They’re almost there, but still waiting for the right moment. Even with the garden looking a little sparse, I know what’s coming! Those buds are going to open, and when they do, the whole place will change.
