Imagine a galaxy with a gazillion people! (a lot…). These people have been living in a galaxy filled with wars and conflicts. Most of these problems, if not all of them, arise from the fact that the great galactic queen and her sub-ordinates are corrupt individuals only looking for their personal gain. So even when it is election time, people no longer trust the institutions that are supposed to be transparent about their votes. In fact, there have been whistleblowers that have showed evidence of the corruption and most of them have been killed and if not, they are hiding and running away from the galactic queen’s army. And the ones that they can’t catch, the galactic queen’s army pursues and tortures their family members. They also create false evidence of wrong doing in order to damage the reputation of anyone who dares to go against the galactic queen’s will. A pretty fucked up place…reminds me of somewhere… Proof of Stake Someday, out of nowhere, metallic boxes appear in many parts
