The Carolina Panthers look awful this season, even though they have a 5-5 record, which at least going into this past weekend, looked pretty good for them and had a lot of people talking about how this could lead to not just a playoff berth, but also potentially winning their conference. Then again, there were also people that had zero faith in them and thought this was all just a bunch of very lucky bullcrap. One of those people is me. The Panthers truly showed their backsides when they lost badly, at home, to the New Orleans Saints, a team that had won only a single game this season and racked up 8 losses. src While certainly not the only problem with the Carolina team, Bryce Young is a huge part of the problem. I said it when they drafted him and I said it again when they agreed to pay him nearly $50 million for 4 years: The kid just isn't big enough to excel in the NFL. Being a scrappy 5'10" dude is fine in high school and college, it gets your team worked over in the NFL. News med
