I'm back in my 3D print shop, and I have two more models to show off. These two ships are the result of a quick test, one was successful, one still needs improvement, and I'll explain why in a bit. The first is a 1:1800 scale model of the Borodino-class battleship, a pre-dreadnought of the Imperial Russian Navy. You can find it on Wargaming 3D and Shapeways, and both entries have more information about it. That is a 1-rouble coin for comparison. It's a bit smaller than a quarter dollar (Canadian and US quarters are the same size), and roughly the same diameter as a British pound, but much thinner. I have plenty of American, British, Russian, and Japanese coins to use, as well as some old French francs, but no Euros, regrettably. To be honest, I'm thinking of photographing the models next to a ruler, rather than trying to find a coin or household item that's the same size everywhere. Wait a minute - bottle caps are the same size on both sides of the pond, maybe I should save one the nex
