Walking around some of the narrow lanes of Varanasi gives you a very aesthetic feeling. Considered as one of the oldest city of the world, it may gives you many glimpses of various arts and culture. Some of the narrow lanes of the city is filled with many arts and murals. And each of the murals showcase the divine power of Shiva the destroyer. Murals in Varanasi are a vibrant blend of deep-rooted spiritual traditions and modern urban art, featuring prominent paintings of Lord Shiva, Ganga aarti, and mythological scenes. While walking around the city i notices many such painting. Some still in good shape and other slowly fading away with time. Not sure who and when these were made, but walking pass the narrow lanes and seeing these all around does give some spiritual feeling the mind. It feels like we are in a different universe.
