Sure, I may be beating the drums of the competition, but hey, they kinda deserve it. At least for the mural they added next to their entrance of their guest house (hotel, hostel, posada, rooms or campsites for rent, etc.) If you want to know, please do your own research. They are called Casa Antonio in Mazunte, and I'm sure they are also cashing in on the accommodation bonanza this town is big on. A simple search will reveal what's to be found behind this wall, as for this post, I am more interested in the mural painted on it. It's typically local... almost stereotypically so! An impressive ocean scene with clouds and the setting sun dipping everything in a romantic purplish light. The accompanying flora and fauna are well placed, yet not the most defining features of this place. Sure, there are pelicans, that is, I've seen them before, but compared to other birds, are less typical.
