There is a really cool mural, just about in the center of Mazunte (where Calle Rinconcito meets the main street Calle Principal and sort of continues as Calle Caoba). It is hard not to see, being a great display of color, artistic skills, and mystical symbolism. I was going to pot about it for weeks, but the light conditions were always unfavorable to take a good pic of it. Today, as I walked to the organic market, everything was perfect: no shadows or parked vehicles obscuring the image, except for the sign indicating parking in 20 meters. But What Is It All About? Yeah, a great question! On the left a sunburst is illuminating some quadratic building structures of a desert village (or at lest that's the first thing that came to my mind). Below that, a thick growth of plants along with turtles is giving off very coastal vibes. The entire right side starts looking very interesting.
