It was a pleasant time spent discovering the city, during which we had the chance to experience first hand the famous carnival of Valencia known as Las Fallas. I am taking advantage of this time of year, when the event takes place again, to share this memory. We were there in 2019. The Fallas of Valencia are far more than a popular celebration, they are a true immersion into the soul of the city, an explosive blend of tradition, satire, ephemeral art and fire. Every year in March, Valencia transforms for several days into a vast open air theatre where streets, squares and neighbourhoods vibrate to the rhythm of firecrackers, brass bands and the lingering smell of gunpowder. 馃嚝馃嚪 Au
