Today has been an interesting day. So many different projects going on that I wasn't sure I would even have a whole lot of time to look at Hive, much less finish up a post. I decided it was time to dive back into the archive of posts I have started in the past but never quite got around to finishing. Fortunately, I found one that is really pretty interesting. I think the reason I never got around to finishing it up is because the silver object I'm sharing comes from a rather obscure location. It's one I had never even heard of until I happen to buy the coin some years ago, I'm not even sure where I picked it up anymore... This coin is really nice in that it celebrates the 500th Anniversary of the discovery is the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe way back in 1470. The coin is from the same islands which is a former Portuguese colony, thus everything on the coin is written in Portuguese.
