Today is March 8. International Women's Rights Day. Is it a holiday or not? In my country, this day is perceived by many people with skepticism. 70 years of Soviet occupation are to blame for this, when Soviet propaganda guessed everything it could make up. But in fact, women's rights are an issue that remains relevant today. Often women initially have unprofitable starting positions compared to men. We still see mass cases of discrimination, when women's wages are less than those of men for similar work. Women are more likely to become victims of violence. Formally, gender discrimination is prohibited. In reality, we still see it quite often. And I'm not saying that there are still state regimes where women's rights are not recognized in principle. Therefore, no matter what, happy holiday, dear women and girls! May your life be free! Let your wings be spread! Let your countries protect your rights!
