So since dropping nearly 100 hours into Octopath Traveler 2, watching every word of the credits, and feeling actually a bit emotional about a game so well made and so perfect, I have been really struggling to find something that is going to appeal to me now. I have Octopath 0, which is the latest version of the game, but I want to at least try some other games before jumping back in. Yesterday I tried, and rapidly failed, at garnering some interest in 3 consecutive games. Fail 1: Celeste src This highly rated metroidvania game is basically "loved by everyone" and all the reviews say it is the best things since sliced bread. Well, I disagree. For one thing is is really hard and I don't like really hard games. You die, a lot and that is kind of what is supposed to happen. If you've heard of Super Meat Boy that is what this is kind of like.
