(ENG) This is my original artwork. "Luminous Crystal" Mixed media,14x18cm,2026 Spring has fully arrived here, though snow was still falling just last month. While snow piling up enough to require shoveling is a hassle, snowflakes themselves are beautiful. Their varied shapes are fascinating. Writing this, I recalled making copper sulfate crystals back in science class at school. Those were stunning blue crystals. Since my father worked for a chemical manufacturing company, he brought home various substances like iron sulfate and alum. I wish I'd studied more back then. (JPN) これは私が創った作品です。 「光る結晶」 ミクストメディア、14x18cm、2026 こちらはすっかり春になりましたけど、先月までは雪も降っていました。除雪しなければならないほど積もった雪は困りますが、雪の結晶はきれいです。色々な形があって面白いです。ここまで書いて、昔学校の理科の時間に硫酸銅の結晶を作ったのを思い出しました。あれは見事な青色の結晶でした。父が化学工業の会社に勤めていたので、硫酸鉄やミョウバンなど、色々な物質を持って帰ってくれました。もっと勉強していればよかったなあ。
