I have the pleasure of sharing my trumpet performance of "I'll Be There (For You)", a pop ballad composed by Martin Nievera and Louie Ocampo. The lyrics are very beautiful because they talk about being present through the ups and downs, staying by the side of the loved one, and inviting them not to give up and to overcome difficulties. On a couple of occasions, I have recorded some Filipino-origin songs, and this mid-90s piece has been an incredible choice. The melody is beautiful, and the tempo of the song is slow to moderate. I love how the piano sounds in the background; it is a song that warms your heart and conveys a special message. The world of music is not only what we see or what is within our reach.
