I am pleased to share my trumpet rendition of "Slipping Through My Fingers", a pop ballad composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. The song came about when Björn watched his seven-year-old daughter Linda as she went off to school, feeling that time was slipping through his fingers. I’ve recently heard it in many videos on my social media, and this piece has a touching, nostalgic quality. I love ABBA; they were one of those groups that, along with The Beatles and the Bee Gees, formed a trio in my musical tastes during childhood. Surely, you also remember it from the musical Mamma Mia (1999). This piece is in the key of A major, and in my case, I play it in G major. The tempo is moderate, with a reflective rhythm in a 4/4 time signature. Spanish | Español (click here) Un cordial saludo para todos en esta bella com
