Hello👋 Hive family, I’m excited to share another real-life experience with you today. Scammers are becoming more creative every day, using technology to trick innocent people. I witnessed this first-hand in my workplace, and it opened my eyes even more. On a faithful day, I was attending to customers as usual when a well-known woman walked in. She told me that she received a strange call from a new number. The caller claimed to be her relative, but she openly admitted to me that she couldn’t remember such a person. The caller then asked her to go to a POS 📠 shop and hand the phone to the shop owner. Her statement gave me confidence that something was wrong, so I decided to pay close attention. The man called again, Image Source and this time I picked up the phone. “Are you the POS man?” he asked. “Yes,” I replied. Then he quickly said, “That woman there is my sister. She will give you cash to deposit into my account.” This was completely opposite to what the woman had told me earlier
