Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. Honestly, it is not easy living as a student in this current economy. In contrast to the salary earners, a lot of us depend on our parents for financial support. And due to the high cost of things, that support is no longer enough. The prices of food, school expenses, transportation and basic needs keep increasing nonstop and the allowance we get from our parents remains the same. Image source Sincerely it's overwhelming but to survive in my country Nigeria you must do what i call “economise”. THIS IS HOW I'VE LEARNED TO MANAGE FOR SURVIVAL. FIRSTLY BUDGETING: Budgeting is important but trust me it's not easy. I know you might be wondering how I manage to divide my small allowance. My number 1 priority is food. I'm a lover of food and I don't joke with my stomach. I will save up for school materials e.g handout (my fellow Nigerians can relate to the importance of handouts to some lecturers. More like their birth right)😂😂 And lastly transportation.
